STC Well Represented in 25 Most Influential Tech Comm Bloggers

by stc-office on 29 July 2010

Mindtouch compiled a ranking of the most influential bloggers in technical communication, and several STC members appear on the list! According to Mindtouch, “Our Most Influential Blogger (MIB) formula consists of a weighted average across a range of metrics including Alexa, Klout Influence, Google Page Rank, Technorati Authority, and Twitter Followers.”

We checked the listing against the STC membership database and found ten members from the list, including the top four and five of the top six. Congratulations to the following STC members, in order of their influence ranking:

RJ Jacquez
Tom Johnson
Scott Abel
Sarah O’Keefe
Anne Gentle
Rhonda Bracey
Bill Swallow
Ben Minson
Paul Pehrson
Tristan Bishop

Apologies if we missed you; please raise your hand in the comments area below to share the limelight! A few others appeared in the Honorable Mentions; congratulations to them as well. Go forth and influence more!

With such a reliance on Twitter metrics, I’ve come the realization that I may be doing it all wrong…. http://bit.ly/d426wc

As a small gesture of courtesy to the members who make the STC proud, you could have given links to their blogs.
