Happy Holidays from STC’s Notebook

by stc-office on 18 December 2009

The fine folks here at Stately STC Manor had our office holiday party last night, down in the awesome Indian restaurant on the first floor of our building. Good times; laughs and cheer with coworkers; and food like samosa, nan, kebabs, and tandori chicken. We even had a special guest show up (shown here with STC Executive Director Susan Burton). And just in case anyone was curious, Your Friendly Neighborhood Blogger won the office’s Door Decorating Contest!

So with the holiday spirit still running rampant around here, I wanted to take this time to wish everyone a happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year. Hopefully we can continue to bring you a blog that’s informative and worthwhile, yet still entertaining, throughout 2010 and beyond.

Being relatively new to STC, Your Friendly Neighborhood Blogger doesn’t really have that much leave time built up. As such, I’ll be in the office throughout the holidays. STC’s Notebook will be dialed down a wee bit during the time period, but will still be active and then will hit the ground running in January.

Cool door decoration! But I can’t quite make out what the note says. In the spirit of technical communication, I’m guessing that it’s step-by-step instructions for him to leave the Lamborghini outside in the driveway.

Here it is, verbatim (since I don’t have my camera with me to take and upload a photo):

“Dear Santa,

Please bring me a day off, an online magazine, and a pony for Christmas!

Kevin”
