Community Events

The below are community events sent in by chapter and SIG leaders. If you’d like to include your community’s events, please send them to Marisa Seitz in the format seen below. This is a static URL, so please feel free to link to it from your STC website. All members are invited to attend any of the below meetings, many of which are virtual (noted by the icon). 9 September: Phoenix, STC-Phoenix Chapter, Be the Captain of Your Career!: Total Wine and More, 1670 E. Camelback, Phoenix, AZ  (5:45 PM-8:45 PM). Jack Molisani, author and STC Fellow, will discuss short-term tactics and long-term strategies for increasing your corporate value—and thus your standard of living. Jack organizes and produces the LavaCon Content Strategy and User Experience Conference. He is the founder and President of ProSpring Technical Staffing. Cost is $20 per person paid in advance through Meetup. Students must be over 21 years old to participate in the wine tasting. ID will be required. The meeting will begin with a 30-minute wine tasting session and light meal, followed by a short chapter business meeting. Jack’s presentation begins at 7:00 PM MST (GMT-7).
