Professional Experience
A 38-year employee of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, I am communications manager for MEADS International. I manage a staff that provides external technical, employee, and media communications for a unique joint venture between Lockheed Martin and MBDA companies in Italy and Germany. The program is a closely watched model for international defense collaboration.
Over my career, I have been responsible for communications teams in support of research and technology programs, information systems, Army radar programs, and tactical missile systems. My work includes marketing support materials and leadership of new business proposals, contributing to development of the Power Storyboard technique, and publication of a methodology for accurately predicting proposal costs for a specific corporate culture.
My prior experience includes chemical research at Dow Chemical and writing for the Public Information Office of the Ames Research Lab at Iowa State University.
